Textbooks:

CISSP: Certified Information Systems Security Professional Study Guide, Eighth Edition (Stewart, Chapple, & Gibson, 2018). This book will be provided if the instructor does not have this edition.

 

Description
This course will serve as an 11 week intensive facilitated review course for the ISC2 Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification for persons that desire to sit for the exam.  The course will cover all 8 domains of the CISSP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK): Security and Risk Management, Asset Security, Security Engineering, Communication and Network Security, Identity and Access Management, Security Assessment and Testing, Security Operations, & Software Development Security. This course is a combination of lecture and self-study. 

Prerequisites:     

Participants should have experience in some of the CISSP domains & should either be a CAISSA member in good standing or be willing to join the Central Alabama Chapter of ISSA.

Registration Fees:

The cost of the course is $315.00. This must be paid in full before the deadline to register. Payments can be made on via PayPal or you may mail a check.

Textbook and additional materials (including slides, light snacks, & practice exam guides) are provided where appropriate as part of the course fees.
