Textbooks:

CISSP: Certified Information Systems Security Professional Study Guide, Eighth Edition (Stewart, Chapple, & Gibson, 2018).

 

Description
This course will serve as an 11 week intensive facilitated review course for the ISC2 Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification for persons that desire to sit for the exam.  The course will cover all 8 domains of the CISSP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK): Security and Risk Management, Asset Security, Security Engineering, Communication and Network Security, Identity and Access Management, Security Assessment and Testing, Security Operations, & Software Development Security. This course is a combination of lecture and self-study.

 

Deadline to register:

Friday, August 10th, 2018

 

Prerequisites:

There is no mandatory experience required however students should have some experience in the CISSP Domains in order to keep up with the lectures. Also, participants should either be a CA-ISSA member in good standing or be willing to join the Central Alabama Chapter of ISSA

 

Registration Fees:

The cost of the course is $315.00. This must be paid in full before the deadline to register. Payments can be made on via PayPal or you may mail a check.

Textbook and additional materials (including light snacks, & practice exam guides) are provided where appropriate as part of the course fees. 

 

CISSP Exam: As a result of recent rule changes within ISC2's policies, we are not able to offer you the opportunity to purchase an exam voucher through our organization. If you would like to sit for the CISSP Exam, you must purchase an exam attempt on your own from ISC2 and schedule it at your convenience. For questions about qualifying or registering to take the CISSP Exam, please refer to ISC2's website: https://www.isc2.org/Certifications/CISSP.
